Test shoot

 Natural lighting.
On this photo I should have used some form of artificial lighting with the natural light. This would brighten my object up a little and make the phone screen a lot brighter, enabling you to see the picture a lot better. I chose to position the picture here because I wanted to create an illusion, like a doubled image. I also wanted it to be clear that it was the same location so I made sure that an obvious part of the smaller image was in the larger image. For example, the fence would be representing the link between both images. I did this with all my images.

Natural lighting.
Again, I could have used a little artificial lighting to help brighten up the picture however, I think the white of the snow helped within this picture a lot because its located to the bottom of the picture so, the little light that was there, bounced off the snow and lightened the picture. The link in this photo was the tree slightly to the right hand of the picture.

Natural lighting.

Again, the snow helped lighten the outside image however, if I added a white piece of paper under the phone, out of the shot, it would've brightened the smaller image. Also, the leading lines in this photo draws the eye all around the image. The link with this picture is the cat sanctuary sign.

Natural lighting.

Personally, I think if I focused more on the outside image, it would've been a lot more effective. I think this because the phone is shot a lot further away from the camera this time, it would've been been nice for a little variety. Also, there is so much detail that could've been captured in a bigger scale instead of capturing it in the phone camera. The link link is the tree walkway.

Natural lighting.
I like the smaller image overall because of the line leading up the road which makes you look around the image however, I think the grated and the road coming through the road on the larger picture distracts you from the main focus of the picture. The link is the house.

Planning

Object- A book

Scene 1-
Start with the book placed on the bed. Take at least 3-5 pictures with the curtains opening.

Scene 2-
Have a model come into the shot and pick the book up. Then slowly bend down into the lense.

Scene 3-
Place the camera into a rucksack and take a few shots of the book being paced into the rucksack..

Scene 4-
Shoot the model walking down the stairs and to the fields. Try to take a maximum of 6 pictures in different locations of the walk there.

Scene 5-
(place camera into bag, the camera is acting as the book) Shoot shots of the model picking the book out of the bag.

Scene 6-
Take 4-7 pictures circling the model sat reading, getting different angles of the location.

Scene 7-
Repeat scene 3 but in that location.

Scene 8-
Repeat scene 4 but walking back.

Scene 9-
Place the book on the kitchen counter and proceed making a cup of tea.

Scene 10-
Carrying the tea and book; shooting from the front of the model, shoot pictures until sat down on the couch.

Scene 11- Place book on arm and place tea on book.

Scene 12- Drink tea but only shoot one stroke of the arm moving to the mouth and away from the mouth.

Scene 13- Walk upstairs, place book on bed and shoot the curtains closing.

Locations;

Bedroom                                            Ally way                                   Bridal path                                 Houses                                               Gateway                                    Field

Lighting;
Artificial lighting will be used within doors, depending weather or not the lighting is bright. For example, the bedroom scene will be shot with the light on when the curtains are closed but will be switched off when they're half way open. This is because I want the window to almost look illuminated.

Artificial light may also be used in the kitchen scene. Either flash of the camera or the light. However, because the window is large in the kitchen, it depends on how much light is coming threw.

Natural light will be used in almost all of the outdoor shots besides the shot where the houses are. This is because the trees surrounding this area are blocking the sunlight.

After doing the shoot for my second idea, I realised that it wouldn't work as well as I thought. Although I do like the shots, how I imagined my last product wasn't the same. Because of this, I have decided to do another idea in which I know is creative and different.
