Task 1B & analysis

I chose this image as one of my evaluation pictures because I like how disorientated it is bu also how clear it is, how obvious that theres a person there but without actually having a solid image of it. I created this image by having my model swing a scarf as I gently pushed the camera to the bottom right. The aperture was f/11 as it wasn't a very bright day and the shutter speed was 1/200.

The main thing I recognise when I look at this picture is the doubling of the model; which I first thought was because she was moving however, when I analysed the picture closely, I saq that the yellow lines also had a doubling to them in which I knew there must of been a movement to the camera. Because of this, we secured the camera on a move smooth surface to stop this frm happening again. The aperture was again on f/11 and the shutter speed was 1/125

Because the location we chose to shoot most of our pictures was a plain wall wit minimal colours, we decided that we wanted the colours on the model and the yellow paint to be more vivid. To do this we changed the aperture slightly to f/8 and changed the shutter speed to 1/200. Personally, I think it worked very well.

Instead of the movement always being in the foreground, we waned to try something different, panning. To do this you have to follow the moving object with the camera so that the movement is actually the background. I think this works very well as the front of the car is very sharp but as you get to the back of the car it gets very stretched which is a very nice effect. The aperture f/11 and the shutter speed was 1/200.

Because the car panning worked well, we wanted to recreate it but with something else, so we tried doing it on our model. Although it didn't work as well as the car, as the model is more elongated instead of wide, we still thought it worked considerably well. The aperture was f/8 and the shutter speed was 1/200.

The aperture and shutterspeed didn't change considerably as we shot in the same location, within a short amount of time so the lighting didn't change dramatically. The only time we had to change the aperture or shutter speed was when we wanted the picture to be a little brighter, not that it was too dark and because of this, overall, I think the location worked well with the theme, and the pictures came out quite well.
