Both these images were shot inside the Lister building. The first image was shot on a diagonal pointing upwards right. I chose to shoot this way because I wanted to include all the bright colours to make the image stand out. The other reason I chose to shoot at this angle was the fact that the sun was up in the right top corner. Because of this, I knew that if I shot upwards into the sun, it would illuminate the colours even more, This second image however was shot completely different. As we had to focus on the location and it was possible to include my object with my location, I decided that I was going to zoom in on a particular area of the glass window so it would still have colour but also be very clear that an object was added. I chose this particular area of the glass as the purple was very much transparent and I liked the look of being able to see the branches of the trees through the glass as my object is also a part of nature. However, I think the light of the glass takes away from the object. To solve this I could easily re-shoot with adding a little artificial light onto the object to lighten it up a bit. All in all, I do like my images as I think they display, in my opinion, an exceptional composition of their category, which is art.
